- רַקְּתָאf. (cmp. רָקָק) alluvial ground, bank. Meg.6a v. preced. B. Mets. 108a האי מאן דאחזיק בר׳ דנהראוכ׳ he who takes possession of the alluvial ground of a river (or canal) is considered an impudent man, but cannot be removed.
